If you are leaving from the US, then I know that you CAN take fresh fruit through the security checkpoint.

I have done it done it at various times with apples, oranges and bananas. I don't see why most other fruits cannot go past security. After all, the x-ray machine will tell them if you are trying to hide something illegal inside the pomegranate - which I am sure that you will not be doing :-).

There are frequently restrictions on importing any plant material into a country, but if you eat all of it before landing, then I do not see any problem. If there is something that you have not consumed, then you could either give it to one of the cabin crew as they come around for the last trash collection before landing, or toss it into a trash bin before customs/immigration.

Well that hasn't happened to me but it sure isn't surprising. American food is different than food from other parts of the world. It is much more fattening and chemical laced. If you had lived in Taiwan your whole you would actually be thinner.

I have a friend from Korea who came to the US as a foreign exchange student for a year. She told me that since she's been here she has gained weight. She didn't eat more than she did in Korea, it was the food.

seriously? well maybe it was just that particular region of taiwan that you were in. but according to american standards your like nowhere near obese.
i went to china because im half chinese. im 5'6" and 110 lbs. but it doesnt really matter because there are girls with all types of bodies in china. and most of the are either short and chunky or super skinny/gangly. and they tend to look a lot younger than they actually are too. im 15 and everyone thought i was like 20.

so you really shouldnt worry about it. plus i live in hawaii and i see lots of girls who are new immigrants from china. and most of them fit in the short and chunky and pale category. lol.

The answer to this will depend on the rules of the country in which you are boarding your flight. Where are you leaving from?

No, you won't be able to take any fruit through security in your hand baggage. I would have thought you'd be able to buy a pack from a cafe once you're airside waiting to board your plane.

Well I haven't been but you are not obese! You are not skinny, definitely not fat! It is good to eat healthily but if you are absolutely sure you are doing that then there is nothing to be worried about. ;) HOPE THAT HELPS! Be healthy. Be happy. Don't think about what others see in you. You are you. Love yourself. Asians need to eat some beef!

A certification from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) that the child is allowed to travel with her, and that she is the legal guardian of the child in that trip. This is secured with the cooperation of the child's parents.
